How to apply textures in Paint Tool SAI

It's my first time to make a tutorial, sorry for my bad english. This is more of a tutorial how I do it so sorry in advance if some of the techniques seem ineffective for you.


Here are my texture packs:
Ornate Patterns (lace, damask, etc) [link]

Grunge (Abstract) [link]

I have a question. On my Sai folder it doesn't have the green arrow shortcut. And no matter how many times I try to re-install the program it doesn't show up. Is there another way around making brush textures without it?
